Do not let anyone put unnecessary pressure on you on social media- Ohemaa Woyeje advises

A word of advice has been provided by Ghanaian journalist Ohemaa Woyeje to Ghanaians in general and aspiring and established journalists alike.

The well-known media figure has declared that since things are not always as they seem, individuals should concentrate primarily on their own abilities and not let what other people are doing fool them.

These wise comments were shared by the host of Y’adwuma Nie on Angel FM in an online conversation with Graphic.

“If you can’t be anything, just be yourself,” she said. If you let all of these unattainable expectations that certain people have of you, you won’t be in the business for very long. Live uniquely and forge your own route instead than following a set of rules that don’t work for you.

“You won’t make any impact in this industry if you give in to all of these pressures from some of our colleagues to dress in a certain way, drive a certain type of car, and live by certain standards,” she continued.
