Yvonne Nelson: “It’s hard to find love in Ghana; Ghanaian men don’t love me”

Actress Yvonne Nelson recently talked openly about her difficulties finding love in Ghana, acknowledging that in spite of her best attempts, she hasn’t been able to locate a compatible companion there.

She disclosed that she had encountered individuals that she was interested in, but they had not reciprocated her feelings, during an interview on Accra’s Kingdom + FM.

When Yvonne said that Ghanaian men don’t appear to adore her, she vented her displeasure. “It’s really hard to find love in this country,” she said.

Men from Ghana don’t adore me. A few individuals I’ve met and liked didn’t even think I did either.

 

The actress also disclosed that, during the past two years, she has abstained from sexual activity and has lost interest in actively searching out a personal connection.

She highlighted her self-control by saying, “I went straight without it for a year after that. When that comes to that, I am in control of myself.

Although I wish I had a love interest, I don’t.

Yvonne maintained her opinion that Ghanaians are not attracted to her romantically when Fiifi Pratt, the host, asked her for more details.

“What else do you expect if Ghanaians are not interested in me?” she asked in closing.

Yvonne Nelson, in general, provided insight into her experiences searching for love in Ghana and her choice to prioritize self-control and personal fulfillment over romantic relationships.
