In the 2021 FIFA Best Football Awards, Edouard Mendy won the best goalkeeper keeper in the world.

One of his biggest competition is Italy’s number 1 Donnarumma who won the Uefa Europe’s goalkeeper of the year in 2021.
The Italian also won the best player at the Euro 2020 where he helped Italy win the trophy.
