Kwesi Nyantakyi gets just 35 votes in Ejisu by-election

Residents of Ejisu, in the Ashanti area, have given former GFA leader and current lawmaker Kwesi Nyantakyi a reality check.

After John Kumah purchased his ticket to the land of silence, the Ejisu constituency’s member of parliament seat became empty.

After his passing, a by-election was held to fill the position, and a number of notable people expressed interest, including Frank Naro and Kwesi Nyantakyi.

According to rumors circulating on social media, the by-election had concluded satisfactorily at the time this item was published.

Unexpectedly, Kwesi Nyantakyi managed to receive 35 votes out of 1035, which indicates that 1000 voters rejected him.
