“I’m the best in Africa and it’s a fact” – Samuel Eto’o claims the African GOAT Throne

Samuel Eto’o Fils has shuttered all debates about who’s the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in African Football.

The Cameroonian legend who hanged his boots over the weekend says it’s an undeniable facts that he’s the African of All Time in African Football.

Debates on who’s the GOAT in African Football have often been centered around Roger Mila of Cameroon, Abedi Ayew Pele of Ghana, George Oppong Weah of Liberia and Samuel Eto’o himself.

With successes at both club and international level, Samuel Eto who holds the record as the most decorated African Footballer says the debate should be over.

The former Barcelona striker had this to on the debate;

I know that someone else will come and do better than me, I know I am not eternal. I also know that I was a unique player. I am the best player in Africa. The others know it and must accept it” 

Samuel Eto’o won 22 trophies in his 22 year career span which include 3 Spanish League trophies, 1 Italian League, 3 Uefa Champions League, 2 AFCON, 1 Olympic Gold.
