Aba Mu Awei, Nyame Bohye No… Majority MPs sing as Parliament approve 2022 Budget (Video)

The 2022 Budget has finally gained parliamentary approval after an earlier rejection last week.

With Speaker of Parliament out of Ghana to Dubai for medical reasons, the first Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei Owusu chaired the house.

He ruled last’s week rejection of the Budget as null and void with reasons that the Speaker, Alban Bagbin erred.

Tables turned today, as the minority boycotted the proceedings like what the majority did last week.

The the house full of only majority members, the budget got a unanimous vote for it to be approved.

The majority members of parliament sang the famous Ghanaian cheer song “Aba Mu Awei, Nyame Bohye No, Aba Mu Awei” as the budget finally got parliamentary approval.
