Nana Ama McBrown’s husband proposed to me but I turned him down – Mzbel Reveals

For the past few years, It was highly speculated that Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown snatched singer Mzbel’s boyfriend Maxwell (Nana Ama’s husband currently).

The award-winning actress during that moment said in an interview on Pluzz FM that she had never in her life snatch any man from another woman but the men rather run after her.

Well, Mzbel opening up on her relationship she had with Maxwell Mawu Mensah years back said at a point in their relationship, Maxwell wanted to marry her but she was not interested so turned down his proposal – We strongly believe it explains why Maxwell found conform in Nana Ama Mcbrown and subsequently married her.

Mzbel in an interview with blogger Zionfelix denied ever having an intimate relationship with Maxwell. According to her, they were just close friends.

“No…and we had never been intimate. But we were very close friends. He was like my cuddling kind of friend.” she responded

When asked what happened between herself and Maxwell on Radio Univers, Mzbel said: “Well, he wanted to get married, and me you know my stand. So he got someone he wanted to get married to, and now he’s married and happy, and I am happy for them.”
