Video: Watermelon seller beats man for setting fire at Tetteh Quarshie Interchange
A fight broke out between a watermelon seller and a beggar at the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange.
The watermelon seller, identified as Ama Sarpong caught Baba Iddris, a highway beggar, burning the grasses at the interchange.
According to the lady, she questioned the man on why he’s engaging in such a prohibited act but the man instead of being apologetic, decided to rain insults at her.

This brought about a heated argument which ended up physical.
‘we’re in the harmattan season which isn’t safe for indiscriminate bush burning especially at the interchange where hundreds of vehicles are stuck in traffic during rush hours.” She narrated
Justifying his act, the man said he did that to ward off snakes and other dangerous reptiles
“The place is bushy and authorities are not coming to weed it…I, therefore, decided to burn it to drive away snakes and other reptiles,” he said.
