Tiwa Savage leaves Mavin Records, signs new record deal with Universal Music Group

Nigerian songstress, Tiwatope Savage professionally known as Tiwa Savage has landed a new recording deal with the World’s leading music group, Universal Music Group (UMG) as she says goodbye to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

The announcement was made by UMG on their various social media platforms and later affirmed by the talented singer.

According to reports, the “Malo” hitmaker, under the agreement, will make music with UMG and have access to their infrastructure and distribution tools.

The report added that her future music will be released to a wider international audience through UMG’s operations in 60 countries across the globe.

Tiwa Savage has joined the list of African musicians who have inked recording deals with the record label.
