Sulley Muntari has scored his first goal for Accra Hearts of Oaks.

Ghanaian International midfielder Sulley Muntari has scored his first goal for Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oaks.

The midfielder scored the winning goal in the defending champions’ 2-1 win over relegation threatened WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium this afternoon.

Striker Kwadwo Obeng Junior gave the Phobia Boys the lead in the 46th minute but WAFA equalized through Derrick Mensah Antwi.

In the 74th minute, the home side were awarded a penalty kick and Sulley Muntari calmly put the ball in the net to win the game 2-1 for Hearts of Oaks.

 

 

 

Last season’s champions have moved to 6th position with 29 points 12 points behind Asante Kotoko who occupy the top spot with 41 points.
