Soldier Imoro Sheriff visited an Ashaiman lady at 10:30pm and left at 1.30am before his attack - Ghana Police explains

Ghana Police have released details about their investigations into the murder of Imoro Sheriff.

Ghana Police Service have released details about their investigation into the murder of 21-year-old soldier Imoro Sheriff.

The investigations has led to the arrest of 6 people in connection to the demise of the young soldier.

According to the police Imoro Sheriff is stationed at Sunyani but traveled to Ashaiman to visit a female friend around 10:30pm on Friday March 3  2023.

Around Saturday 1.30am he left the house of the female friend and about 15 minutes later he was attacked by suspect Samuel Tetteh and Abubakar Sadick at Ashaiman Taifa in ab attempt to rob his phone and backpack.

The soldier struggled with them and Samuel Tetteh used a knife on his arm and took the phone

Samuel Tetteh and Abubakar Sadick sold the phone to Ibrahim Abdul Rakib who also sold it to Safianu Musah.

Safianu Musah is being evasive about the whereabout of the phone claiming he sold it to Yusuf Mohammed and later to Abdul Gafaru Abdul Karim.

 

 

All these suspects are currently in the custody of Ghana Police Service.
