Ronaldo out of the Champions League as Vintage Ajax put Juventus to the sword

Cristiano Ronaldo has bowed out of the Champions League with his Juventus losing at home to Ajax.

Ajax went to Turin needing a win to qualify with 1-1 first leg return result.

Juventus took the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo in the 25th minute.

Ajax quickly leveled the scores in the 34th minute with a cool finish from Van De Beek.

The winning goal of the game came in the 67th minute via a Le Ligt header.

Ajax will face the winner of the Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspurs in the semifinals.
