Legendary Ghanaian musician Kojo Akwaboah has passed away.

Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician Kojo Akwaboah has passed away.

The veteran passed away in the morning of Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Akwaboah Jnr took to Twitter to mourn his father following his demise amidst messages of condolences.

 

 

He is the man behind the forever classic song “Awerekyekyere” which is one of the greatest love songs ever recorded in Ghana.

His song Akwaboah Jnr also rose to become a great highlife artist who continued his legacy even when he was aliveZ
