John Painstil has been accused of attributing Christian Atsu’s death to his benevolence.
Former Ghana Black Stars defender, John Painstil has been accused of attributing the sad demise of Christian Atsu to his benevolence.
This was revealed by the head of Crime Check Foundation, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng whom the former footballer called to attack for releasing a 64 year old man who was jailed for breaking into his house.
Following reports that Crime Check Foundation have paid the fine to set free a 64-year-old who was sentenced for breaking into John Paintsil’s house in Ajumako to sleep, the footballer received backlash.
Loads of the backlash made him uncomfortable as he confronted Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng over the report.
According to Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, John Paintsil asked him why he would free a man who has committed a crime and that it’s this same freeing of prisoners which got Atsu cursed to his demise.
From the 64-year-old man’s story he traveled to Ajumako to burn charcoal and with no place to sleep at night, a friend led him to sneak into the house to sleep at night
The said house was built by John Painstil and that was where his father was living till his demise.
