OFFICIAL; Akufo-Addo goes into 14 days self isolation after someone close tested positive for COVID-19

The President of Ghana will be going into 14 days self isolation as a precautionary measure against coronavirus.

This was revealed in a press statement signed by the Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

According to the press statement, a person close to the President tested positive for coronavirus today.

The statement made it clear that the President took a test himself and the result cake out negative but as part of the COVID-19 protocols, he will be in self isolation for 14 days.

 

 

Within the 14 days he will be working in self isolation according to the press statement.
