Obama Offered Me American Citizenship But I Told Him God Will Punish Me If I Accept - Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta has revealed that he once rejected the chance to become an American citizen.

Ghanaian media personality Blakk Rasta has revealed that he rejected an offer from Barack Obama to be an American citizen.

The Pan-Africanist revealed this in an interview on Property FM.

According to Blakk Rasta, when Barack Obama came to Ghana in 2009 he extended the offer to him but he decided to decline.

He says when the President of America offered him the opportunity to become a Citizen, he told him when he accepts it God will punish him.

Blakk Rasta is of the opinion accepting the American citizenship would be tantamount to abandoning his responsibilities to Ghana his motherland.

The Pan-Africanist caught the attention of the then candidate Obama in 2008 when he released a campaign song for him.

 

 

Barack Obama would go on to win the American election and become the first Black President of USA.

On becoming the President, Barack Obama visited Ghana, his first visit to Africa as the President of USA in 2009.

He met Blakk Rasta during his visit to Ghana.
