Nungua JHS Student In Court For Beating Teacher With Squad Over Homework Punishment

A student of the Nungua Kroma 2 JHS has injured his teacher for punishing him over failure to do his homework.

The form 3 student will be arraigned before the Accra Juvenile Court ‘C’ on April 29 for the commencement of his trial.

According to the state prosecutor handling the case, the student was punished by the teacher, Mr Moses Onyameasem for not doing his homework.

Following the punishment, the student rushed home to bring 15 people from his neighborhood who stormed the school with a Sprinter Bus to assault the teacher.

They inflicted wounds on his face, fortunately colleagues of the teacher rescued him and rushed him to the LEKMA Hospital.

To add insult to injury, the mother of the student also visited the school to insult the teacher.

The teacher Mr Moses Onyameasem, accompanied by Mr Roger Asempa, the Head Teacher went to report the case to the police on Monday, February 22, 2021.
