John Mahama has promised to build a new Blackstars with local players when voted into power.

Presidential candidate of the NDC has promised Ghanaians a new Blackstars team with local players should he win the next election.

On his campaign trail to convince Ghanaian voters to give him the mandate come December 7, 2024, he is promising to make the senior national team of Ghana better.

According to John Mahama, he will build a new Ghana Blackstars team with local players.

The presidential candidate believes the local players have more hunger in them and this will drive them go succeed at tournaments.

Ghana Blackstars have been abysmal at tournaments in recent years with back to back group stage exit at the AFCON.
