It is noteworthy that Nick Kofi Adjei Danso Abbeam, a business magnate from Ghana who was named the country’s wealthiest man in 2023, comes from a family that has an astounding 100 children.
As CEO of the Nick Group of Companies, Nick Abbeam oversees a number of businesses, including Ghana Link, the chain of Royal Nick Hotels, the Royal Light franchise, Alic Inspection Company, Export Gold Ethanol Inspection Company, Global Export Company of Guinea Bissau, Misyl Energy BDC, Nick Petroleum, and several others.
In retrospect, Nick Abbeam described how his stay in Spain broadened his viewpoint as an entrepreneur.

After more than a decade in Spain, he came back to Ghana to build his empire in business, which included founding Nick and Slogan, Ghana’s first importer of Ford tires, kitchen cabinets, and building supplies.
“Nick and Slogan on Spintex Road was one of my first companies,” he said, remembering his early years. I was the Nick, and the slogan was a white man.
This resulted in the creation of Nick Scan, Misyl (Energy BDC), Nick Petroleum, and, with luck, numerous other companies.
