The mother of Nigerian footballer Samuel Chekwueze has showed the African parent her and prayed for her son as he departs for the African Cup of Nations.
She knelt in front of her son, held his legs and prayed for him to have a successful tournament.

Villarreal winger Samuel Chekwueze is part of the Nigerian senior national football team tasked by the country to win the AFCON 2021.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria finished 3rd in the 2019 edition of the tournament but like every African Super Power the goal for every AFCON tournament is the trophy or nothing.
3 times champions Nigeria are in Group D together with 7 times winners Egypt, Sudan and minnows Guinea-Bissau.
