May you get COVID-19 – Joyfm journalist curses Ghanaian for doubting his COVID-19 status

Joy FM sports journalist Gary Al-Smith has cursed a social media user for doubting his COVID-19 status.

The sports journalist who is currently receiving treatment the the UGMC after testing positive to COVID-19 has been criticizing the government’s COVID-19 measures ever since he got admitted at the hospital.

Under one his his posts, a social media user who goes by the name Yao Adu Asamoah accused him of feigning sickness just to have access to the hospital to do propaganda against the government.

“U went there for propaganda mission. We know u already. U are not sick” – Yao Adu Asamoah commented

The comment irked Gary Al-Smith to curse him with a response that may he get COVID-19 if his accusation is false.

“If I am not sick and faking it, may COVID-19 kill me.

If I am sick and not faking it, may you get affected by COVID-19 and may it teach you a lesson

Amen”
