Lydia Alhassan commits her 3 month salary to support the needy in Ayawaso West during the lockdown
Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan has pledged to support the vulnerable and needy in her constituency with 3 months salary.
The Member of Parliament of Ayawaso West Wuogon says she will commit the next three months of her salary to support the vulnerable in her constituency in the lockdown period.
This follows the Ghana President’s decision to donate three months of his salary to the fight against coronavirus and it related economic issues.

Lydia Seyram Alhassan won the 2019 bye election at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency to represent them in Parliament following the death of her husband Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, the then MP.
Come December 2020, she will have to beat off competition from NDC’s candidate John Dumelo to retain the seat for NPP.
