Leaked WhatsApp Chat Between Funny Face and Baby Mama Sparks Online Frenzy
The Ghanaian comedian Funny Face and his former partner, Vanessa Nicole, are at odds over who gets to see their kids. The comedian tries to stay in touch with his daughters and gives them financial help despite his personal struggles, but things have gotten worse after a WhatsApp exchange was leaked.
In the communication that was released, Funny Face—who goes by Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng in private—repeatedly reaches out to Vanessa and says he wants to be engaged in his daughters’ lives. He talked about his efforts to support them, which included giving them GH¢1,100 a month even though he hadn’t had a reliable source of income since being released from prison.
