Having completed Senior High School, her dream was to further her education at the university but money was the problem.

Sharing her success story to Abena Manokekame, Owusu said it all started with the hawking of banana on the street but the revenue wasn’t enough to take her through university so he had to learn a how to fix wig.

Below is Owusua’s message to Abena Manokekame;

Good morning Auntie Abena,

Please, I graduated last week. Can you please post me to motivate others that they should not give up in life no matter how hard the situation becomes, especially we the young women? 🙏 I started selling bananas when I had a dream to go to university. After some months, I realized I couldn’t afford many things with the banana money 💰, so I tried hard and was able to save.

Then, I enrolled myself in wigs making in Accra, and I spent one month two weeks over there. Fast forward, I bought forms for university, and thanks 🙏 be to God, I had a chance. So, I started school and introduced my wigs business to my friends and lecturers.

Fast forward, I also started selling ladies clothes from Kantamanto, so through that, I am now a shop owner at Winneba and a graduate at the same time 🙏.

All this while, I was paying for my fees and any other things 🥹. There was no help from anywhere 🥹, but as of now, I’m proud to say all this 🙏. Thanks 🙏 so much.”

Finally Owusua is now a graduated from the University of Education, Winneba and she owns her shop in the same town she schooled.
