Ghanaians and Nigerians on social media are prepared for banter as the two nations clash in the FIFA World Cup playoff.

Ghana and Nigeri were pitched against each other in the draw which took place in Cameroon this afternoon.

Come March the two African heavyweights will lock horns for one ticket to the Qatar 2021 FIFA Cup.

Immediately after the draw both set of Netizens took to the various social media apps to banter.

 

 

Despite the gulf in form between the two national teams derbies like this follows no logic especially when a World Cup slot is a stake.

As expected Shatta Wale and Burna Boy are featuring in some of the banter because of their social media feud a couple of weeks ago.

 

 

Though both sets of Netizens are optimistic, the current form of Nigeria Super Eagles compared to that of Ghana Black Stars has made Nigerians more optimistic.

 

 

One Nigeria Netizen says she will delete her account should they lose to Ghana.
