Ivory Coast National Team Invites Drogba, Yaya Toure To Join The Team For AFCON 2021
The Ivorian national football team have called on their football legends in their bid to win AFCON 2021.
With the biggest football tournament in Africa set to begin in January 2022, the Elephant of Ivory Coast have invited Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure to join the team.
The two former captains will join the staff of the team in Cameroon to pass on their experience to the playing body.
Two time African Champions Ivory Coast are in group E together with defending champions Algeria, Equatorial Guinea and Sierra Leone.
They will play their opening game on the tournament on Wednesday January 16, 2022 against Equatorial Guinea.
