I will never, ever perform in a Ghanaian film again—Enoch Darko says

After becoming well-known in the industry, Ghanaian actor Enoch Darko, better known by his stage name Watambombshell, has made the decision to concentrate on making more appearances in Nigerian films.

He talked about the extreme disparity in the seriousness of the Ghanaian and Nigerian film industries.

According to Darko, Nigerian producers and business people put a lot of money and effort into their films and value their craft highly.

Darko felt that the Ghanaian film industry lacked vitality, and that Nigeria’s commitment to the craft of filmmaking shone out.

During an interview with Kwaku Manu, Darko disclosed that the current status of the Ghanaian film business was the reason behind his decision to leave the field.

The actor stated his reservations about the lack of seriousness and investment in the Ghanaian movie business, even if he initially preferred Ghanaian films.

He highlighted the distinctions he saw between the film industries in Nigeria and Ghana, pointing out that the former had more resources and a greater degree of dedication to filmmaking.

Darko’s choice to concentrate on Nigerian films is indicative of his optimism about the industry’s prospects for expansion and success.
