I Was Trotro Mate, Vote For Me To Be The Driver And I Will Cancel E-Levy, Betting Tax - Bawumia Speaks
Bawumia held his first campaign lecture yesterday at UPSA in Accra.
NPP Presidential candidate for the 2024 election, Bawumia had his first campaign lecture at UPSA on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
Speaking to a group of party fanatics and top gurus, he talked about how his government will abolish some taxes introduced by the current administration.
Despite being the Vice President in the current government, he says when voted in to be the president, he will cancel the E-lecy introduced by the current government in 2022.

He also promised to cancel the tax on sports betting where the government takes parts of wins from individual bet winners.

According to Vice President Bawumia, he is currently like a trotro mate but if Ghanaians vote for him to be the president, he will be the driver with constitutional mandate to drive the country forward.
