I Left SDA Because I Needed Spiritual Protection For My Career, The Church Doesn’t Support Acting - Kwaku Manu

Kwaku Manu has revealed that he had to leave SDA church to be a great actor.

Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has explained why he had to leave the church he was born into to his current church.

In an interview with Nana Romeo of Accra Fm, the actor said he was born into the Seventh Day Adventist church but he had to leave the church to realize his dream of becoming an actor.

 

He said he realized the path he’s chosen needs serious spiritual protection and SDA is a church which doesn’t encourage spirituality.

According to Kwaku Manu any person with multitude watching everyday needs spiritual protection so he realized he needed to leave his church.

Truthfully when he left the church to Mama Vida’s church, he got his breakthrough with the movie “Aware So” with the term “wo y3 me taste, Am love you, Am k!ss you”.

The actor acknowledged how SDA thought him discipline and that it’s the best church when it comes to training people to leave noble life.
