GURU NKZ – After Covid-19,I returned from the US feeling really miserable.

Rapper Maradona Yeboah Adjei, better known by his stage name Guru NKZ, is from Ghana. He just shared some of his darkest memories from 2020.

During an interview with Adwuma Adwuma anchor Felicia Osei on Onua FM, Guru described how his depression resulted from what was supposed to be a two-week vacation in the United States.

He claimed that because he had traveled right before the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in 2020, he was unable to return promptly and was forced to stay in the US for five months during the worst of the pandemic.

He claimed that a lot had changed and his career had collapsed when he returned to Ghana.

He mentioned that he even lost his crew to work with, therefore it was a trying time for him.

“I stayed for an extra week thanks to Covid. It took some time for me to rebuild my energies after returning because everything had gone wrong in the nation. When I launched my song, “Mep3 Bad Energy,” there were a lot of people who were disappointed, he said.

The “Alkayida” hitmaker said that because there had been a lot of disappointment, it took some time for him to feel the good vibe he needed around him.

He claimed that by using music to communicate his feelings, he was able to get over his dejection.

“I turn to music to help me feel better when I’m feeling down. Along with Fameye, I released a song that was entirely about me. I just have to balance it because it’s music, but I was trying to convey something and make it funnier,” he continued.

Guru, a political science and information studies major at the University of Ghana, has announced his intention to run for SRC President in the meanwhile.

I am a third-year student studying political science and information studies at the University of Ghana. I wish to begin there as I have witnessed the events and the type of leader that the public desires.

I’m excited to introduce Legon TV because the pupils are sick of listening to the radio station. There should be a Legon TV, and the number of buses on campus needs to be increased.
