Great Olympics humble Hearts of Oaks as they beat the Phobians in the Accra Derby

Accra Great Olympics won the bragging rights over their city rivals Accra Hearts of Oaks in the Accra Derby today.

The Wonder Club defeated Phobians by 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Captain of Great Olympics, Gladson Awako gave the away side the lead with a sweet freekick in the 13th minute.

3 minutes later Maxwell Abbey scored a fabulous volley from an assist from his own blood brother Samuel Abbey to make it 2-0 for Great Olympics.

Hearts of Oaka tried everything to get back into the game in the 2nd half but they finished the game without scoring even a goal.

Olympics moves 3rd on the Ghana Premier League table with 18 points.
