Ghanaians Blā$t Asantewaa For Begging For Pampers On Social Media
Asantewaa, a Ghanaian TikTok sensation, recently posted on social media about what she wants for her approaching birthday.
On the flier she shared, she requested a variety of gifts from her supporters and well-wishers, the majority of which were cash.
For those who wished to contribute to her birthday gifts, she even gave them access to her account data.
Some of her fans, however, criticized this decision, accusing her of asking for presents online and pursuing unneeded attention.
Asantewaa responded to the criticism by saying that although she is able to buy anything on her wish list, she would much rather receive gifts from others as a token of their appreciation and affection.
She asked her admirers not to criticize her for having a wish list, stressing that everyone has one, regardless of their financial situation.
Asantewaa explained, saying, “I am not begging or in need; rather, I am offering people a chance to show me love by posting a wishlist. Many people are dying to be loved by me.
Even though I can afford everything on my wish list, I shouldn’t handle everything on my own.
Although Asantewaa’s wishlist may seem controversial to some, she maintains her decision to share it with her fans and expresses gratitude for any birthday gifts she may receive.
