Gh Man Wins GHS2M Bet, Calls Police After BetWay Refuses To Pay Him

A man from Ghana has resorted to social media to voice his displeasure over a money that he earned from the sports betting company betWay Ghana that is locked up.

After placing a GHS1 wager, the young man, who goes under the name @GhostboyMay, posted a screenshot of his GHS2 million winning bet slip on the X platform.

In the message, the guy demanded that BetWay give him his hard-earned money and said that he had been refused access to his account so that he could cash out after winning the wager.

He then appealed to social media influencers and the Ghana Police to assist him in obtaining his winnings from the closed account.

GhostBoyMay earned GHS65 million (650 billion old cedis) from BetWay’s online jackpot in addition to his winnings, but he is having trouble removing the money from the system.

The amount that is still in his account has actually sparked questions about why a young man’s sporting account would have such a large sum of money.

Some call him a hater, while others believe that BetWay frozen his account because he purportedly manipulated their system and that his account was wrongly credited.
