The family member who poured the libation requested that the late Member of Parliament be laid to rest in peace.

He went on to say that if his death was natural, he should rest in peace, but if there were individuals involved, they are requesting his ghost to take quick action.

The family member’s statement follows public statements and allegations that the politician was slain.

According to local reports, the late lawmaker was poisoned by some New Patriotic Party members during a Tamale event.
