Diana Asamoah’s Phone Stolen While Performing At NAPO’s Unveiling
Diana Asamoah, a well-known gospel singer and NPP supporter, had a traumatic experience on Tuesday when her phone was taken during a party event at Jubilee Park.
The purpose of the event was to introduce Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate for vice president in the 2024 election.
Asamoah’s focus was momentarily distracted throughout his performance, which made the heist possible. She broke off her act to declare the loss, clearly in tears due to overwhelming sadness.
For NPP supporters, it was a generally joyous event, but the incident added a gloomy undertone.
The theft has sparked questions about security at the gathering, which included prominent NPP members and officials.
Asamoah was reportedly visibly shaken and begged for assistance from the throng to get her stolen phone back.
The gathering went on with gusto in spite of the tragedy, including speeches by party leaders including Dr. Bawumia and NAPO as well as other musicians performing.
An important turning point in the NPP’s campaign for the 2024 elections was reached by the occasion.
Although Asamoah’s management has refrained from commenting, those close to her say she values the care and support that fans and the NPP community have shown.
The incident emphasizes how crucial security and attentiveness are during public gatherings.
