Britain’s Got Talent Results Spark Controversy: Afronita & Abigail ‘Robbed’ of First Place?

Ghana as a whole is pleased of two award-winning dancers from Ghana, Afronita and Abigail, who placed in the top three of the just concluded season 17 of Britain’s Got Talent.

Following the show, a lot of Ghanaian fans were shocked to learn that Afronita had placed third and the magician in second position. Afronita was robbed, in the opinion of the majority of her supporters, and it’s unfair.

“I suspect conspiracy, Afronita & Abigail deserved the 1st Position of the Britain’s Got Talent & not Third Position, What is a Magician doing at the Second Place?” expressed a disappointed fan of Afronita and Abigail in a video.

Wearing traditional Kente fabric to symbolize their Ghanaian roots, the pair gave a performance that many on social media have called thrilling.

Their vibrant performance, which displayed their exceptional talent, astounded the judges and the audience.

To promote Africa to the rest of the world, Afronita, 20, and reality sensation Abigail, 7, sang a mix of popular African songs, including Fuse ODG’s Antena.
