Dormaahene has advised Bawumia not to succumb to pressure to select his running mate from Ashanti Region.
The overlord of Dormaa Traditional Area, Dormaahene Agyemang Badu has advised NPP Presidential candidate Bawumia not to succumb to pressure and choose a running mate from Ashanti Region.
The NPP Presidential candidate met the Bono Regional House of Chiefs and this was when Dormaahene spoke about the much awaited running mate choice.
The President of Bono Regional House Of Chiefs said to Bawumia that he’s noticed a particular region wants him to choose their native as his running mate at all cost and this region thinks it’s a must if he wants to win the 2024 election.
According to Dormaahene if Bawumia succumbs to the pressure then other regions will not vote for him.

He then urged him to choose his running mate from Bono Region because they also have capable men in the NPP who can be good vice president.
