Berekumhene finally went home after passing away in the 2nd half of the year.

Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II, the late Berekummanhene was given a befitting last week.

The late Paramount Chief of Berekum was a qualified medical doctor who worked at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

He passed away on June 9, 2023 at the Sunyani Regional Hospital in the Bono Region.

Born Leonard Ofori, he picked up the stole Daasebre Amankona Diawuo II when he ascended the throne.
