Asante Kotoko Draws Cameroon’s Coton Sports In CAF Confederations Cup Playoffs

Ghana’s Asante Kotoko have been paired with Cameroon’s Coton Sports in the final hurdle to reach the group stages of the 2018/19 CAF Confederations Cup.

Asante eliminated Kenya’s Kariobangi Stars to reach this stage.

Coton Sports on the other hand dropped from the CAF Champions League, having been defeated 4-3 on aggregate by Egypt’s Ismaily.

The first leg of the tie will be played in Cameroon on between January 11 – 13.

The return leg will be in Kumasi a week later.

Asante Kotoko are yet to progress to the group stages of any CAF competition since making the group stages of the Confederations Cup in 2008.
