Amanfoɔ: Prempeh College Beat Presec, Ketasco to win 2021 NSMQ Trophy

The grande finale of 2021 National Science & Maths Quiz went down today at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science of Technology.

The flagship quiz competition amongst Senior High Schools in Ghana saw 3 schools made the finals.

The final involved defending champions Presby Boys SHS popularly known as Presec, Prempeh College and first time finalist Keta Secondary Technical School.

After a hotly contested final of 5 rounds, Prempeh College finished as the winners of the competition.

With the competition being held at Ashanti Region capital Kumasi, Prempeh, the pride of Ashanti Region wouldn’t allow the trophy leave Kumasi.

Prempeh had 53 points, Presec finished 2nd with 49 points and Ketasco had 30 points.

This is Prempeh College’s 5th Trophy having won it in 1994, 1996, 2015 and 2017.
