Akwesi Appiah was advised by a Spiritualist to drop Gyan for Ayew – Gyan’s aide

A member of Asamoah Gyan’s communication team has revealed that the player was stripped off the captaincy for spiritual reasons.

Asamoah has finally called it a quit on the senior national team of Ghana after 16 years of service.

The player’s decision to retire was a reaction to Akwesi Appiah’s decision to give the captains armband to another player.

According to Kweku Obeng alias. Papa Maestro, who’s a member of Asamoah Gyan’s communication team, Akwesi Appiah took the captain from Gyan because his spiritual father told him he saw Dede Ayew bringing the AFCON trophy home.

It must be remembered that a couple of weeks ago, Ghsplash published a story which speculated that Akwesi Appiah is contemplation on dropping Asamoah after a meeting with a prophet.
