Coup In Gabon As Military Ends The Bongo 50 Years Dynasty
Junior Military offices in Gabon has taken over power from Ali Bongo, ending a 50 years rule of the family.
The army said they took this decision to restore Democracy is the french West African country.

They took control of the Nation’s Broadcaster at 04:30 local time to read a short statement announcing a “National Restoration Council”.
Ali Bongo succeeded his father Omar Bongo in 2009.
He’s been out of the country for about 2 months battling stroke.
