Wives who deny husbands $*x risk 2 years imprisonment or huge fine for emotional abuse – DOVVSU

The Domestic Violence & Victim Support Unit has sent a cautionary reminder to married women who deny their husbands $*x.

The Central Regional Coordinator of DOVVSU, George Appiah Sakyi says it’s a crime to deny one’s husband $*x.

According to George Appiah Sakyi any legally married women who who constantly deny her husband $*x risks a jail sentence of 2 years.

The minimal punishment for this offense is fine of 500 penalty units which is equivalent to GH¢6,000.

The Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit has urged husbands who suffer this problem at home to report their wives.
