Why can’t men and women mix during prayers – Ghanaian Feminist Dela blast Muslims over funeral of Kasoa boy
Ghanaian feminist, Dela Goldheart has questioned why men and women sit or stand separately during Islamic functions.
The controversial feminist has taken on Muslims on how they practice separation during prayers and functions like funeral.
This latest dig at Muslims was triggered by the Islamic burial service of the 10-years-old boy who was murdered at Kasoa last week.
Reacting to photos of the burial service where men and women stood separately, Dela Goldheart wrote the following;
These are pictures from the funeral of the little boy who got brutally murdered because we refuse to give our children the proper education (read socialization) they need (story for another day).
I see that women and men are separated. And I am fully aware of how some of you are going to justify this using religion. But instead of doing that, how about putting critical thinking and practical/logical reasoning first?
What exactly makes it so terrible and impossible for women and men to mix while burying their kid, praying or doing any communal activity?
