Where was Akufo-Addo when Guinea President changed constitution to contest 3rd term – Serwaa Amihere asks

Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Serwaa Amihere is taken on ECOWAS Chair, President Akufo-Addo for condemning the Guinea Coup d’etat.

This follows a statement made by the President of Ghana who doubles as ECOWAS Chair against the current military junta in Guinea.

Reacting to President Akufo-Addo’s condemnation, she asked him where he was when President Alpha Conde was changing the constitution of Guinea to allow him contest for the 3rd time.

According to Serwaa Amihere since Akufo-Addo and the other African leaders were quiet when President Alpha Conde was changing the constitution of his country to run as President for a 3rd term, they have no business condemning the military junta .

She tweeted; “Where was the ECOWAS chair when Alpha Conde was amending their constitution to favour him for a third term? What did African leaders do or say?“
