We won’t vote for NPP if they build Ghana Film Village in Koforidua and not Kumasi – Kumawood Stars

A couple of Kumawood stars has threatened not to vote for the New Patriotic Parry if they opt to build the Ghana Film Village in Koforidua and not Kumasi.

A section of the 2019 budget reads, the government has acquired 200 acres of land in the Eastern Region to build a Film Village.

The group led by veteran movie producer, Samuel Nyamekye said they oppose the Eastern Region option and  demand the Film Village be built in Kumasi.

Speaking on Peace Fm’s Entertainment Review, Samuel Nyamekye accompanied by actors Salinko and Big Akwes said they will hit the streets to demonstrate soon.

According to the Miracle Films producer, Kumasi has the most vibrant movie industry in Ghana and deserves the honor to have the Ghana Film Village.

They added they will urge Kumasi not to vote for the NPP come 2020 Elections should the government fail to adhere to their request.
