We don’t want you to perform at our stadium – Hon Sam George threatens to stop Kuami Eugene on Sunday

The super clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday is expected to have the rockstar, Kuami Eugene perform at the stadium.

But this has been resisted fiercely by the Member of Parliament of Ningo-Prampram, Hon. Sam George.  He said Kuami Eugene is a known supporter of Kumasi Asante Koto so they can’t allow him to perform in their home when the team he supports (Kotoko) is playing against Accra Hearts of Oak.

He took to his Twitter page to make threads of posts, explaining the reasons why Kuami can’t perform there.

“Accra Hearts of Oak belongs to the fans. We say we do not want Kwami Eugene to perform at our stadium on Sunday. He can perform at Baba Yara before they leave Kumasi or perform on their team bus but at our Accra Sports Stadium di3r, make them forget kraa. End of discussion.

All those saying contract and all, can you show me where in the Adonko contract it says Kwami Eugene must perform at games? Is the sponsor not interested in ticket sales? Did the tickets not sell out in less than an hour? Who says we need a musical performance for profit?” he posted.
