Godsbrain Smart affectionately called Captain Smart was arrested by the Ghana Police Service.
He was taken to the Nima Police Station over what the police described as unsavory pronouncements that hinge on peace and security.
Captain Smart was cautioned on the offense of offensive conduct conducive to breach of the peace as provided under section 207 of the Criminal Act, 1960 (Act 29).

The firebrand broadcaster was released the same day and he’s back doing his usual things on television.
The video that got him arrested has him cautioning the government that there will soon be an uprising in the country.
In what seems like calling for coup, he questioned the military on why they are silent about happenings in the country especially ugly behaviors of Ghana’s parliament.
