VIDEO: My relatives did dɤʋgs, they linked me to it but I refused – Ken Agyapong explains dɤʋg allegations

Ghanaian politician and businessman Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has revealed that he was linked into drugs but he removed to get his hands dirty.

In a 2015 video which has resurfaced on the internet the Assin Central Member of Parliament was quizzed by journalist Nana Aba Anamoah on whether he’s a drug dealer as alleged by some people.

He answered that he has never done drugs and that he is a genuine businessman who worked hard to be successful.

The Assin Central MP then said he will go blunt if the journalist wants and that was when he made a statement that “about 85% of successful businessmen in the country one way or the other dealt in drugs”.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong added he’s never peddled drugs but “as for relatives yes, my relatives they’ve done it then they linked me to it but there are evidences there to show that I was not part of it because certain actions I took when you go there have the police record there”.

Nana Aba Anamoah then asked if he is friends to these drug dealers and he said he wouldn’t know because the person could be his friend but wouldn’t tell him what he does and he doesn’t poke his nose into people’s business.
