Video: “In China I listen to his songs” – Meet the Chinese fan of Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale is gradually gaining global popularity after years of being trolled as a local champion.

The artist has started gaining popularity outside Ghana in recent years with the biggest breakthrough coming with the collaboration with Beyoncé.

Apparently Shatta Wale fans aren’t only Ghanaians or Africans. A Chinese football journalist has professed her love for Shatta Wale’s music.

The lady caught up with Joy Fm’s journalist Gary Al-Smith in Germany at a football seminar and confessed her love for the songs of the Shatta Movement lord.

Speaking to Gary Al-Smith the Chinese lady says she was the Fantasy Dome last year’s Reign Concert.

According to the lady even after getting back to her base in China she still plays Shatta Wale’s song and her favorite remains ‘My Level’.

The Chinese lady added that she has love for Kuami Eugene’s songs especially ‘Confusion’ and ‘Wish Me Well’
